Melograno,
the original pattern of this lampas Melograno can almost certainly be traced to Moghul-India, however, fabric creators of the XVIII century have rendered it more European. From ancient times, pomegranates have symbolized wealth and prosperity in the Roman world, and later even more so in the Byzantine and Central Asian world. The drawing of this lampas in a meander, placed parallel but offset, is typical of the 1760-70s when decorative patterns attempted to reflect reality and hide the repetitiveness of drawings. This bestselling Colony fabric is suitable for both draperies and upholstery projects and with these additional 5 new colours it comes to a total of 10 stunning colours.
